Financial Assistance Policy

FOHS provides financial assistance for individuals preparing for or undergoing a prescribed cardiovascular medical procedure. The Board annually sets aside a sum of money for eligible individuals to cover costs for whom financial hardship arises as a result of the need of a cardiovascular medical procedure. Please be aware the available funds are limited, as the Board’s primary goal is the long-term sustainability of Heart House, and this initiative must not place this priority at risk. Eligibility for financial assistance is determined by criteria identified by the application process, which is restricted by regulations to ensure we maintain our non-profit charity status. If you are concerned about not being able to participate in a prescribed cardiovascular medical procedure because of costs, contact us, we can help .
